| Position Summary: | The two cardiac floors currently have a Senior Staff vacancy for the busy 31 bedded Cardiac Interventional Ward. Applicants must have current NMC Registration and have experience in cardiac/hepatobiliary nursing and a course in either of these fields would be preferred. A teaching certificate would be desirable as the candidate would be expected to teach and mentor junior colleagues. You will be expected to take responsibility for your own practice, in accordance with UKCC and hospital guidelines/protocols. You will assess, plan and deliver care, plan and monitor staffing needs and assist in preparation of staff rotas. You need to be motivated and demonstrate a keenness to learn new skills as well as applying existing cardiac skills. Being a team player is essential. Being a team player is essential.
